I got 'retrenched'. Haha... cos I think the woman on maternity leave is coming back. I decided to retrench myself earlier... cos I will be off to Phuket on this Saturday for one week.

I must admit that I would really miss this place after I leave. I had a happy time working here as compared to Hyflux where I had the most miserable time there. I love the long MRT rides to Buona Vista where I would take the time to read a book. I like the amount of time where I have the luxury to do my own things. I like the feeling this place gives me. Its such a warm, comfortable and very familiar feeling even though I have not step in here.

Sigh... perhaps I should stop basing my opinions of things based by the feeling a place gives me. It causes me alot of trouble like the case of NTU. I went to Tjc because of the whole feel of the place. I want to go to NUS because of that too. Its not even about how the building looks, the location or the courses. Its just that general feeling you have about a place, in the case of Tjc and NUS and even MOE, the warm, comfortable, familiar feeling that engulfs you when u step into the place even if you have never seen it before.

Perhaps the above is just all my imagination. I certainly am not making sense to myself anymore. Haha...
