Lies can get you into a lot of trouble. Even if they are white lies.

Remember in my previous post I mentioned this auntie/granny/cleaner (don’t know what to call her) who gave me sweet potatoes to eat? I told her they were very nice to eat and thanked her for giving them to me. I sincerely thanked her from the bottom of my heart but I lied about the part that they were nice to eat when they were not very nice to eat to me cos she use the heat from the refrigerator to warm them which kinda spolit my appetitie.

Today, she came to me and told me she brought more. Oh dear… how can I stop her from bringing more. I truly appreciate her kind intentions and this little act really warms my heart but I don’t think I can bear to eat anymore of these sweet potatoes which happen to be a deep bright purple for some reason.
