E-mails from hall

E-mails from OSA are usually sent out in this very boring neutral tone which I mostly ignore, as in the case of all other official mail received.

Amazingly, I love getting e-mails from hall. The way they are written makes me laugh. Here are some extracts from the e-mails that our hall manager have sent us.

"It is a strange place to be when residents complain about the Hall being run down only to contribute in sending it further downhill."

where the e-mail was to remind the hostelites not to paste notices on walls and pillars as the blue-tacks and cellophane tape left behind causes the paint to peel.

"Interested please flex muscles at office counter to demonstrate capability."

where the e-mail was about part-time jobs for students to earn additional income.

"Some male toilets have combination locks as well. Laughing at male residents locking the doors to the toilets is illegal. They deserve to bathe in as unpeepable an environment as any girls."

where the e-mail was about peeping toms and the various measures put in place by the hall to prevent further incidents from happening.

He is the funniest hall manager I ever seen. One fine day, I need to go find out who he actually is.
