National day

Went to watch the fireworks today. The entire place was flooded with people. It was as though the whole of Singapore was out in full force to celebrate national day. I usually detest crowds, but I guess we need crowds at times like this for the celebration mood to be complete. I love national day, the one day out of the 365 days in a year where we put aside our complains bout Singapore and celebrate our nation's birthday together.
