What a klutz

I saw the metal chain that was at knee height before me.

I knew that there a metal chain at knee height before me.

Thus, I lifted up my right foot extra high to pass over the obstruction before me.

But I made a mistake and lifted up my left foot too while my right foot was still in mid-air.

So, there was no feet on the ground at all.

And the next moment, I suddenly found myself lying flat on the ground.

Whoosh… all the air was literally knocked out of me.

My specs flew off onto the ground.

My bag and my plastic bag with all its contents was strewn on the ground.

For a moment, I was rather dazed and wondering why I was lying on the ground.

Then, I remembered and cautiously wriggled a few limbs and they thankfully work.

Quickly went back to my room to test out my labtop which flew some distance which thankfully works too.

Physically, I am ok . I escaped this fall with only a few minor grazes on my elbows and a gash on my leg.

Mentally, I was mortified when it happen as some people witnessed my spectacular fall in plain view.

I am amused now as I have not fallen like that for a long time.

Hahaha. That sounds so much like you really. Sorry for laughing at your misfortune.

Your legs don't communicate well enough.

My dear..... you can't lift both your legs off the ground unless you jump. So that's where you got your bruises....><
