New year
Year 2009 is arriving soon. What’s interesting about a year is how it seemed to have flown past so fast while a day can drag on so long.
New years mark the end of a time period and a start of a cycle of another time period. Yet, the new year does not mark the boundaries of time for me especially since I stepped into NUS where my ‘new year’ follows the academic calendar. Everyone seems to be making new year resolutions as always. I shall not make any resolutions for I can’t keep to promises made to myself. Resolutions I don’t have, hopes I do have.
And I wish everyone a happy new year.
