Dogs vs cats

I have always preferred cats to dogs while many others prefer dogs to cats.

Today, I found a quote from the book 'Anne of the Island' which perfectly sums up why I prefer cats to dogs.

'I love cats', said Dorothy. They are so nice and selfish. Dogs are too good and unselfish. They make me feel uncomfortable. But cats are gloriously human.'

To be human is to be flawed. And perhaps thats why I can relate to and love cats better as my character is inherently flawed by nature.
