I use a lot of substitutes to do things in hostel. When washing by eating utensils, I use my shower cream cos got no detergent. When moping the floor, I use the detergent for clothes cos I got no detergent for floor. But hey... I am still alive.

Xuhua, as an answer to your tag since I cannot answer it on your tag board... effective nuclear charge supposedly increase down the group because the 2s electrons has penetrating power into the 1s orbitals or something and so even though it spends less time near the nucleus than the 1s electron, it spends a very small but very significant amount of time near the nucleus which results in it being very strongly attracted to the nucleus or somethin. So how? Effective nuclear charge increase or decrease down the group? Sigh... I plan to ask someone after all the mid-term tests are over.

For the past 1.5 weeks of school excluding recess week, I didn't go for a single lecture. Suddenly, I just felt so tired. Tired of the entire system, tired of having no one to go with me for half of my lectures, tired of searching for my friends in the large lecture hall for the other half of the lectures and not finding them cos there are so many people, tired of so many tests... so I just ran away in a way. Hmmm... Xuhua must be shaking her head. Haha... but yeah... I resumed going to lectures today. I sorted out my thinking. Now I just have to try to stay alive.

I joined project angel. So yeah, in december, I will be away in Cambodia building schools and teaching children. Hopefully my parents will allow me to go. I am only reluctant to go because this means that my mother will be left in the house for a period of time since my father is going to South Africa with his friend since my mother refused to go with him, my sister will be away to London on a MEP trip and me to Cambodia. Hmmmm... see how first.
