Physical chem lab session
There was this experiment where we had to do a couple of things at the same time.
1. Continually stir and check the liquid mixture consisting of two compounds for the first sign of solidification.
2. Ensure that the temperature of the water bath the mixture was in is 10 degrees below the temperature of the mixture at all times by adding ice.
3. Record the temperature of the mixture every 30 seconds.
WAH PIANG!!!
I only got two hands.
It resulted in a rather frenzied flurry of activity as I tried to do everything at the same time.
That experiment took half a year off my life.
I read through the next experiment that I am assigned to do. It’s something like the above experiment except that it involves titration.
The remaining 3 experiments plus 1 practical test will probably take many more years off my life.

haha, they don't have stirrers? we always use those.
Oh, u are talking bout e automatic magnetic stirrers rite?
Oh man, I didn't think bout them until u mention them cos it was not in e lab manual instructions. I just blindly follow them. Thats quite bad.
But now that u asked and I've think bout it, i think its cos the liquid solidifies during e experiment which is why we can't use it. If it remains liquid throughout, we could have used it.
