Diaries... and I mean real diaries using pen and papers... I took out my oldest diary today and look through it... and laughed. Hmmm... I think I started a diary cos my mother made me start one to improve my English and she corrected all the grammar mistakes in my diary every night... well... until she got tired of doing so one day.
My very first diary entry... grammar mistakes and all.
Date: 27th May 1996
" My three day's at the bungalow were very fun. I have a fine time playing with my friends Joyce and Jon. I brought my two hamster along too. My friends and I have a fine time playing with my hamster."
A diary entry that makes me wonder why I wrote it in the first place.
Date: 23th June 96
"Today, I had a very good time. It is the last day of school holidays. But I am glad because I am going to school tommorrow. Tommorrow as usual I will play skipping with my friends until the school bell rings. Then I will take my bag and go the canteen to buy a drink and after I had finished my drink I will go to the hall to say prayers. And we will que up and go to our classes."
After a while... I realised that I had very limited vocabulary in primary 3, my days were either good, fine or fun including this one.
"Today, it was a good day to me. I played guesses who with my sister. My father bought two fish yesterday. My mother said both of the fish is very ugly but she said the fish that is white is more beautifully than the black and orange fish. I also say so."
That was the 9 year old me... which I don't know is good or bad. Haha... I guess I just thought and wrote... like how a 9 year old did.
