Sometimes... when u tell people you are from NUS... they will comment its a top 20 university. Sometimes... u ask international students why they came to NUS... and they will tell you its because they look at the rankings of the universities and Singapore is a rather good university. Up till today... I have no idea where exactly NUS is in the top 20.

So... I went to check online today... and I laughed when I found out... cos it confirmed my suspicions... NUS is the last of the top 20 universities. To be exact... its number 19 cos it tied with University of Tokyo. It reminded me of tjc... where its supposed to be one of the top 5 jcs in singapore... problem is... it is the last of the top 5 jcs in Singapore... still... I am proud to be both a tjcian and a student from NUS no matter what their rankings are today and in the future...
