I am so proud of myself. I washed my first batch of clothes using a washing machine today. And all the clothes turned out fine! I was so happy and excited that I proceeded to wash a second batch of clothes at 1 in the morning.
Going home tommorrow. Everytime we want to skip orientation, we are suppose to give some reason. I gave the reason as 'family reasons'. Haha.... though I usually don't tell them. But today's orientation was fun! It was held in the night where we had to walk through drains. We had to climb up slopes that were covered with plastic sheets. It was really difficult cos the seniors were spraying water and soap on the sheets all the time. I was wet and soapy at the end of the activitiy. I am glad that there were seniors to help us with the CORs bidding today. I was really blur and didn't know I had to declare my major by yesterday. So this senior drove all of us who didn't declare major in a lorry to the office of administration. First time seating at the back of the lorry.
One thing I discovered was that i like sleeping without air-con. Whenever I went home, I felt so weird when the air-con was on as the air seem so stuffy so I have taken to not sleeping with air-con. Anyway, I think my air-con is angry with me for not using it for 3 days. When I switched it on, it created a tremendous noise that did not stop which means I can't sleep so I turned it off. Sigh... one of its parts has came loose and from past expericnce, it takes 200 dollars to repair it. So yeah... I shall sleep without air-con since I get a better night of sleep without air-con.
I don't really think I belong to Temasek hall. Its too happening a hall and its a sports hall where alot of them seem to be in school teams or nationals teams. What am I doing here? I should have stayed in King Edward's hall which is known for its asceticism and motonony and its the nearest hall to science faculty as compared to temasek hall which is the furthest from science faculty. (quoting someone) But I shall be happy here. I like my room as compared to the rooms in KEVII where u feel like its some ancient army barracks. Do come and visit me if you all have the time. Haha...
