I was reading 'National Geographic'...

I never knew this.... Zhenghe was castrated. Hmm... recently read quite a lot of reports about how Singapore wants to remember Zhenghe... but they never mention this fact. The issue of National Geographic was suppose to talk about the voyages of Zhenghe but they seem more interested in this fact as they mentioned it in the opening lines of the article.

Another article talked about genetic engineering and stuff like that. U know... that was this guy... he got leukemia... they had to do this bone marrow transplant. The thing was... he got his bone marrow from a girl. So... his bone marrow is now happily churning out blood with 2 X chromosomes. Haha... he got the blood of a girl. However... his erm... sexual orientation is not affected as his sexual characterstics depend on his hormones and not his blood. Thats really so amazing. His mother commented that if he committed a crime and left some blood at the scene of the crime... the police would find it hard to trace him down... as they would be looking for a female and not a male.
