Concert at botanic gardens

I went to Botanic gardens when I was in secondary school and saw this stage on a lake which is aptly named 'symphony lake'. I told myself I will go back to listen to a concert there one day. I fulfilled this little dream on Saturday!

Went to listen to an opera perfomance by the 'Singapore lyric opera'. They sung arias that day which I didn't really understand but still enjoyed. The accoustics of this open-air environment can't be compared to that of esplande concert hall. But somehow, I kinda like this kind of environment more than the concert hall environment. It somehow made the music feel more accessible to the general public. It was nice to to sit on the grass, even nicer than the seats in a concert hall.

I want to go and watch 'ballet under the stars' too!
