Signs that we are ageing

In our parent's time, they used log books whenever they had to do calculations involving logarithms and exponential functions.

When i was in JC, we used calculators but still referred to the t-tables and z-tables in paper form when we needed to do questions related to hypothesis testing.

JC people these days use their graphic calculators to check up the the values of the t-tables and z-tables electronically.

Little things like this, which so gradually change, marks the invisible boundary between one generation and another.

It just struck me suddenly somehow that I am getting old.

hello friend, my time, i also use log book ok..i can show you though cos while packed my stuff, i saw it and i recalled back how i used it to find X^2, cos, sinus and so forth. haha..yeah.. calculator really spoilt the student sometimes cos it degrade the use of your brain even 1+1. So the younger generation will be the ones on the losing ends because I wonder if they know how to use the log book. hahah..

Graphic calculators are pretty difficult to use too.
