Flame in the night
Wow!!! It was a fantastic concert. I gave it my all and played my heart out tonight.
I heard a great solo cellist play today. I think many people were drawn to her because of her virtuostic playing, drawn to her through her music which managed to touch people's hearts. She seems intimately connected to life itself and that was what drew me to her.
Its finally over. I feel a tinge of sadness. I have no idea what I am going to do with myself on wednesday nights. I will miss orchestral practices!
I can't believe that I will ever say this, but I have grown to love the piece, the firebird by stravinsky, the piece which I used to call 'that noise of a music'.
