First day of school today.
Isn't there this Murphy's law? Its certainly applicable to today. Haha...
I went to NUS today forgetting to bring my phone along. Gave me loads of trouble in the later part of the day. I arrived at the lecture and sat down and was totally amazed when people started taking out notes. I had no idea that we had to print out notes. When the lecture ended, the lecturer told us goodbye and see us on Wednesday. I went Huh? Wasn't it one lecture per module every week? Though they listed 2 lectures a week for each module, I thought we could just choose one and go for it. My timetable suddenly expanded from 10 lecture hours a week to 20 hours a week. I panicked and skipped the next lecture to check for clashes in my timetable and I didn't have any lectures notes anyway. After recovering from the shock, I went around looking for a public phone to call Xuhua in my hostel. Found so many, but they only accepted telephone cards. I went to walk around arts faculty but the public phones were the same as that in hostel. I gave up and decided to board a bus to clementi in hope of finding a coin public phone. Bus 151 going to NUS from clementi doesn't mean it will go from NUS back to clementi. By that time I realised that.. I was at Njc. Haha... Decided to board bus 67 to my old house in Dairy Farm. And then from there on, board 176 to Bukit Batok MRT station. Since I didn't have Xuhua's number, called Michelle to find out her number. Got her number and called her hp, her father picked up. She had directed all her calls to her house. Sigh...when she was physically in hostel. Haha... I had no choice but decided to go to NTU to look for her. I thought NTU was at Jurong MRT station and stopped there as I thought Jurong point was at Jurong MRT station and there was where we were supposed to meet. Finally managed to contact her when she informed me that Jurong Point was not next to Jurong Mrt. Had to board the MRT again to Boonlay. Where my little adventure finally came to an end. Haha...
and so that was how my first day of school went.
Back at home now to retrieve something needed for tommorrow, print out all notes as well as think about my screwed-up timetable.
