Relief teaching was good today. Maybe cos I got back my voice back... maybe cos I know how to control the students better today.

Had some really interesting conversations today...

Relief teacher: How old are you?
Me: 19 this year
*silence*
Relief teacher: Thats so young!
Me: Then how old are you?
Relief teacher: 25
*silence*
Me: Thats so old!

Student: Teacher... what is zinc?
Me: *Gives him an incredulous look* Its a metal.
Student: *Glares at friend* How come you tell me its plastic?

Was walking around looking at what the students were writing. One boy wrote this...
zinc+ sulphuric= zinc sulphate.
Another girl wrote this...
zinc+ nitrogen oxide= zinc sulphate
