End of the week... end of my chinese relief teaching career! It was a enjoyable yet frustrating week. Perhaps its cos its my first time doing relief teaching. Perhaps its cos the students are TOTALLY different from TKGS students. The students are horrendously wild and do not have any intention to study... yet because of that... they are very amusing.

Met a fellow relief teacher. She told them to stop scolding vulgarities at each other. They said ' Cher... U should use vulgarities to scold us... then we will be on the same wavelength... and maybe we will listen to you.

2 students were caught smoking. They were made to stand outside the office with a big board reading ' I am a smoker, can u please help me'? Their pictures were screened on the TVs located around the school.

I had to be a teacher's assistant during their computer lessons. Its compulsory in that school to have 2 teachers whenever using the computer lab. This is cos the students actually dismantle the computers if they have an opportunity to.

Going back to relieve from Monday to Wednesday next week. Hmmm... will reflect on my relieving teaching experience this week and aim to do a better job next week.
