Today... told my parents bout my violin exam grades (since they were asleep last night)

Father's reaction...
Wow... not bad... That's means u r gifted in music. (which I obviously am not but he thinks so as he is so much worse in music than me and his world consists of physics and maths and he knows nothing about music.)

Mother's reaction..
When i told her... never say anything for a few seconds... Then she ask... what is distinction. (Because she never heard of it before as my sister and I never sniffed a distinction before) Then... I went into a whole long lecture about the grading system... In the end... she ask... Is it an A?

What interesting reactions I get...

Haven told my sister yet. I bet her reaction will be more interesting... One of disbelievement.
