Hey... I can blog again after my computer broke down and my mother had to reinstall the disk drive or something... The term 'blessing in disguise' would be fairly appropriate here.
Yesterday was National day... Basically... I think out of 365 days... there is only one day where Singaporeans feel a sense of national pride. That is National day... To put it in this way... 60 000 people in the Kallang stadium will display some sense of the pride of being a Singaporean. The rest of us who cannot fit into the stadium due to land scarcity will watch those 60 000 people dispaying some joy that it is national day... Some even better... they took the opportunity to go overseas like my family and I a few years back for a vacation... and if the destination is near enough where the television waves can reach them in the foreign land... they will watch the Singaporeans in Singapore displaying a sense of national pride.
